I have converted my iPhone after I realized the phone wasn’t compatible at that moment with an eSIM however, now it won’t let me activate

The iPhone 14 is eSIM compatible so it should work.

No the covertion is from a sim to esim which allows you to do on my iphone 14

eSIM on iPhone works on PM network and no compatibility issue, or are you converting from iPhone to another phone?
And are you existing Public Mobile customer and just changing phone ? or you are new subscriber? g
