I had checked and confirmed that my s20 ultra was compatible for esims and yet the app is saying that it is not compatible. Please help.

You will most likely have to get a physical sim card. I have an S20 and had the same issue, it said it was compatible in the initial search but I could not install the esim. Put a ticket in or private message a cs agent. They credited me cost of the sim card, you can get one from mobile klinik or koodo/telus store

There are 2 versions of the Samsung S20 Ultra.
One with SIM and eSIM and the other is dual SIM.
If you have the single SIM then it is eSIM compatible. The dual SIM is not.
If it is the single SIM, contact a CS_Agent by DM them by tapping on your avatar top right then Messages for an agent to help with your activation.
