Trying to get set up, but Eversafe doesn't recognize my email address. I believe it's because the Top Level Domain is uncommon....it's not a .com or .ca
Help! I don't want to have to open up a generic Gmail account just for one service....I'll never be able to remember that it exists or what the password is for it!

Depending on your device ( Apple or Android) set up an email that you will use with their apps with something like janesphone2@gmail.com and choose a relatable password that you can remember but using both small and big letters, numbers and a symbol or two. Then store it on a cheatsheet somewhere safe or a locked folder or 2 locked folders ( one with the email and the other with the password.)
It's best that you don't use you regular email for your public mobile email as it makes it harder for hackers to access your online accounts when they don't share the same email as your mobile provider phone's account.

hi @EndlessFootstep look like the reason for the problem is not EverSafe actively rejects .quest . It is just the system setup does not allow Top level domain with more than 4 characters.
But with PM, it is unlikely they will make change anytime soon to accommodate

.quest
It's a TLD that's been available for more than 10 years, though I'm not sure how long ago Quest opened it up to public registrations.

Agreed. Support can't bypass a system limitation.

hi @EndlessFootstep what is the top level domain?
I think to avoid spam, PM might have set some restrictions with the domains, please check with support agent to confirm by message them here

Support will reply via Community inbox here within 2 to 4 hours:

Don't you have a smartphone with a Gmail or Apple icloud account?

I am confident if you contact a CS Agent to share your concerns, they will tell you to just open a Gmail account.
