I beg to differ as I've seen a Bell SIM that was acting up last year. We tried 3 different phones and at the end it turned out to be the SIM experiencing a failure after some time of normal operation. The phones wouldn't be able to register to the network until after a restart then it would just quit again after a few hours. All worked fine after a new replacement SIM... While it's unlikely, that was the very first time I've seen a SIM fail ever, it's worth checking in another phone to see if it behaves the same.
That's a different scenario from the OP's scenario though - in your case, you're being completely disconnected from the network. That's different from the dropped calls being reported by the OP.

@MJDaigle, sorry to hear you are having issues. I have yet to drop a call in my 7 months with PM. Do you have another phone you could try your SIM in to see if you are still getting the same issues? Either way I would purchas a new SIM, it is great to have a back up do you have no downtime if it does die. As well if another great promo comes up you can get a friend or family up and running right away and give them the sim because if they are referred by you you would recover that cost in 5 months.
