Does International Text include texting from out of Canada?

My plan has unlimited International Texts, does this mean if I am in the US I can text? Or does it just apply to when I'm in Canada? Would I need an add-on to text when I'm in the US?

International texting only within Canada.  In the United states, you will need to buy a 10 day roaming packages.
