Hello. Do i need to use the app if I have a physical sim card to activate my service that i purchased? I cannot install the app on my phone.

If your phone can’t download the PM app. That means that your phone doesn’t have the latest OS or iOS or your phone is too old.

What is the make and model of your phone?

if you can't download the app, use a friends cellphone and download the app, create your account and activate your plan using the sim card you got. Then when it's up and running, delete the app from his cellphone.

Yes, the app is required for activation.  You'll need to borrow a device that can run the Public Mobile app, but remember to log out after using it.
