Disable email to text

How can this be done? I get only spam with this

Not on the carrier level but to me, I think the device workaround is sufficient

all the email to text messages come from phone number (999) 999-9999, you can block this number and those email to text messages will not show up anymore.  It is a low risk block as there is really no one will call from that number and no other legitimate text will come from that particular number

nothing you can do on the carrier level

but this is old "technology", Rogers decommissioned that long time, I expect Telus will follow, just a matter of time

(funny some people really need that and we always see posts about how to make sure it works)

I was hoping to have it blocked at the carrier level

you cannot really disable it, but you can block it on the device level
