Present phone takes a micro size SIM card and SD card. What should I do if I wish to switch to a phone that takes nano size SIM and SD cards?

Current ones are the 3 in 1 which are quite convenient but if that isn't the case for you or for ppl that are going from smaller to larger sim, you can buy a new one at one of the places that are much cheaper and just follow the steps above.

@nevawoo - if the Micro sized SIM you have is not the removable adapter type (older style), check in with mobile shops. Some may have a SIM cutter that could cut it down to nano size.
I have done this years ago. It cost $5 then. Not sure of the cost now, so I would ask before you get them to do it..it may be cheaper to buy a new SIM in the end.
See retailers SIM cards if you want to pick one up near you: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/store-locator

The PM SIM comes with spacers from nano to micro or standard SIM size.
Just snap off or add on the spacer.

@nevawoo Some sims are 3-in-1 itself and you can take off the outer frame to make it nano
If yours is not, just go to a store to get a new one. Once you got it, go to My Account and login and request Change SIM card there. Follow the steps to pick a way to get your 2FA security code.:
