- My plan was scheduled to renew today Aug 2. Last week I set my plan to change to 6gb 4G on renewal. I have preauthorized payment. It did not change the plan and shows I have used 2.9 gb of my allowed 5gb of the old plan. If I were to change my plan now, will it debit me again? $40 was paid on the old plan. I changed because of 3G is wasting my time and patience.

@Loons the self serve has been a real mess since the uprades a few weeks ago, I am hoping it will get better soon ,seems everyday a few more bugs are fixed 🙄

Ok. So I logged out and back in of My Account and it appears to have signed me up for the 4gb plan which I know is not enough for my data use. I don’t mind playing the privacy browser game to change the plan as I had to previously for add-ons. It seems that since telus has publicly put it’s name in the web page it became more difficult to self serve anything. And speeds are the same snail pace even here in the lower mainland BC.

@Loons hi yes you probably would be debited again , try using a different browser in ingognito mode ,see if it refreshes your account
