So last week I changed my plan to the Canada US and Mexico and also added an e-sim card to my phone. I first couldn't text or call with it on Monday. I can now text and call but have no internet or data connection unless I'm connected to wifi.

I think I have at this time. Will find out when I cross the border in a month.

Please remember that customers need to be using the chatbot to open tickets.

I would first do a power restart on your phone, and reset network settings. If you've done that, and you're able to text and make calls, but not use data, i would reach out to a PM customer service rep to make sure the change went through correctly on their end, you can message them here:
