Hi,
Data not working but I can make calls. Checked and still have plenty of data on my plan left. Any ideas at to what may be causing this?
Thanks

Actually, going back to your previous screen shot, it doesn’t look like you have a profile installed. But the “Reset Settings” under Cellular Data is a safe thing to try.
I also noticed “3G” and not LTE; while 3G should work just fine, was it forced to 3G only? Settings —> Cellular —> Cellular Data Options —> Enable LTE (enable). I also leave Data Roaming enabled (doesn’t hurt on PM if you don’t have a roaming package, as you won’t incur unexpected fees).

@shegall if possible, could you please download the free app called "Network Analyzer" (the one authored by Techet) from the App store? Once installed, launch it and scroll down to the bottom of the Info section. Hopefully you'll see an IP address (could be a 10.x.x.x, 25.x.x.x, or 100.x.x.x address). Seeing this validates that you have a valid APN and PM is giving your device an IP address. Here's an example from my phone (PM happened to give me the dynamic IP address of 25.50.120.54):
If you don't see something resembling the above, then it might be APN related.
Also, it's possible that a configuration profile was (inadvertently) installed. Check if this is the case and clear it if so via: Settings --> Cellular --> Cellular Data Network --> Reset Settings.

What is having "Roaming on" suppose to do?
I never have it turned on except for leaving the country.
@shegall when your son has time to backup the phone I suggest he try the restore as I mentioned.
I have fixed a few issues this way. Not sure how or why but it works.
EDIT: Confirm that the 3g you have remaining shows in the self serve account under data and add-ons?

Turning Roaming On didn't do anything. Tried it a few times.
Not sure what 'setting match my iphone 5' means.

Turn Roaming ON; then your settings match my iPhone 5

Data is set to 'ON', only Data Roaming is OFF.
@krazykiwi, I've done everything on the list except restoring it. It's my son's cell, I want to make sure everything's backed up before I attempt it.
Thanks for the help.

Try these if you haven't already,
- remove and insert your sim card, make sure your phone is off,
- toggle celluar data off then on, settings - celluar - celluar data
- check for carrier update, settings - general - about
- reset network, settings - general - reset - reset network settings - reset all settings
- restore, do a backup first, settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings.
If it comes to the last option i recommend setting the phone up as new with minimal selections. Test to see if data is working then install backup.
EDIT: Some also suggest toggle airplane mode on for 30 secs then off.

Thanks. Also do you have Settings --> Cellular (not Cellular Data)?
Just want to make sure the "Cellular Data" option is enabled.

Any chance of getting a screenshot of Settings --> Cellular ? Ideally do this while not connected to WiFi.
And maybe Settings --> General --> About (but blur out anything identifying details).
You pretty much can't directly set APN on a current model iPhone through the UI. You can on a cell-capable iPad though, oddly enough.

@shegall wrote:Yes, data worked previously. Have about 3GB left to use on plan.
I tried changing the APN to sp.mb.com as seen in other posts.
I've also 'reset network settings', turned phone on/off.
Using an Iphone SE.
@shegall I'm tagging @CalgaryBen, @Luddite and @Rockdaddy22 in hope that one of them can assist.

Just wondering how much is plenty of data? The usage log is not real time for data as it is uploaded a couple of times a day so just making sure that this isn't the case of it not just updating your latest usage and using up your data.

Has data ever worked?
If no then check Apn.
If it worked before then check that data is turned on, there is no limit that stops data reboot phone etc
Can you send MMs? If yes data is turned on.
What phone are you using?
