Data not working in US despite paying for the CAD +US plan

I have enabled roaming, tried pretty much everything else and still no data. The bars appear at the top of my phone, including the LTE symbol, it even says I’m connected to Verizon but no internet/data is coming through. What do I do? I’m currently paying for extra roaming data now on my partners phone just to ask this cos there’s no one to call. Sigh

I find only T-Mobile works properly; neither Verizon nor ATT work for me in North Dakota/Minnesota on a Pixel 5.

You need to connect to either T-Mobile or AT&T under your network connections.

I'd recommend trying T-Mobile first, and ensure your Roaming is toggled on, then it should work.
