My daughter just got an eSIM with public mobile and she can make calls but that’s it. No data, no texting and now iMessage is not working either. Incredibly frustrating.

*update:
sent a support ticket last night and they had me shut off the phone for 5 minutes. I did 30 minutes and powered on again. The past few days under iMessage and FaceTime my phone number was “verifying” but finally it completed and I was able to click the number and have a check mark ✅ beside it. Sending and receiving texts works properly again.

Try rebooting her phone by powering off then back on and see if that helps.
If not, it could be a porting issue with eSIM if she ported her old number over from another carrier or picked a new number. She will need the assistance of a CS_Agent to investigate the issue. Click on Chatbot and type in Submit a Ticket or dm them.
