first, which data add-on you bought? how much is that for how many GB?
reboot phone and click reset network settings
also, make sure you disable data limit on you phone if you have an Android

Try reset the Network setting on your phone and reboot your phone.
Also check the status of your account to check it is active and not suspended by dialing 611 on your phone or call 1-855-4PUBLIC from another phone or login to your account on the PM app or website to see if data was used up.
