SMS warnings at 75% and at 95%. Data is cut off at 100% - it's technically still active, certain background data continues, MMS events still go through, but the system otherwise forces redirects to PM's you-ran-out-of-data webpage.
Data usage-tracking features or apps on your phone are good guidelines but not very accurate. Data usage measured on your device can be wrong, data usage measured by the network (and reported in Self-Serve) is what you pay for.

On your phone go to Network and internet.
click data usage : will let you know amount of data you have used.
you can also check your usage when you login to your PM account.

Usually you will get warned at 75% or 90% (?) used data.
However, there is no data overages with Public mobile. Once it runs out, the service just stops. No extra charges.
