Trying to get support. My text messages are not working

Could we get more detail of your problem?
Did you just ported out old number to PM?

If you did, did you reply to the text confirming you are porting over to PM with the old SIM in your phone?

Do you use native OS texting app or 3rd party app?

@barbaraegarhos for the text message, you have trouble sending or receiving?  or both?  You certain it was trying to send or receive on regular sms and not iMessage or RCS?

 

did you try to send to multiple persons and all have problem?

 

First thing to try is to reboot the phone.   

If issue persists, try to clear cache of the massaging app

If possible, try on another phone

Make contact with Public Mobile Customer Support.   Before doing so, however, try rebooting device and resetting network connections to see if that gets things working.

 

To contact a Customer Support Agent, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type Customer Support Agent, then select Contact Us, then select Other (or the topic that more closely matches your request).  Click the result which states Click here to submit a ticket and follow the prompts,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the Customer Support Agent by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.
