Lost my phone now I want to get a new sim card from the store and it says my number is not found.

first you must get a new cell and download the Public Mobile app. Then log in to your account. If new cell takes esim, then you can buy a esim in the account.
If you still want to use hard sim, get that before logging in to your account. Amazon has them for about $10 with FAST shipping.
