Credit card issues

I had my credit card on autopay, but my last payment didn't go through. I tried to re-register the credit card but it says it will not work. My credit card works fine otherwise. What should i do?

Hi,

I am having a problem making a payment with my debit card.  It is a MasterCard Debit card from BMO.  I am guessing that is the problem.  Can someone confirm that they only will accept Visa Debit cards and not the MasterCard?  Why don't they accept both?  Very not cool.

Thanks.

Jason

To  be quite honest, today is the first I've ever even heard of it.  Mostly, it's Visa, Mastercard, and Visa Debit for online purchases.  Not all online stores will accept Amex.  Ironically, I find that in-store, Mastercard is more accepted than Visa.

Speaking of a few cents... Anyone know what's up with the weird penny amounts in the "receive" column?

As far as I know all PM plan costs are full dollar amounts, so people who buy these "vouchers" are loosing anywhere from 10 - 99cents per top-up on top of the fee / exchange rate? Just trying to figure this service out...

Recharge is a foreign entity. They are probably coming to the numbers by way of their own currency and figuring it back to CDN. The values also fluctuate with the exchange rates.

Seems to me to specifcally say Visa. Lots of very not cool things around here. But we soldier on keeping money in our pockets.

We need to talk to recharge to see if there is any opportunity for a commission for you.

Honestly, i would rather tell them to charge a bit less fees rather than me or anyone making a few cents.

Seeing how their pricing has been going up, I sense they are using the Amazon surge pricing model.  Maybe we can use camel, camel, camel to track their price in real time.

@will13am any commission would need to be split with @NDesai  🙂  but i only mention it when peopl are looking for voucher or alternate method payments are needed (ie cc issues).  its just another tool in the tool belt.

You can buy payment vouchers (like gift cards) at stores like Canadian Tire, Walmart, Gas stations like ESSO and Shell....  Load up voucher to your account....

I tried 611 and my card still would not work. I private messaged moderator yesterday, and still no reply. Thanks for your help.

Ok, the different browser and private mode didn't work. How do you get a payment voucher?

@erinnm9182

Try the above suggestions.  There have been a few autopay glitches the last month or so.  You can try to dial 611 to see whether you can activate via your phone.

If that does not work, you will need to contact moderator to fix your account.

@erinnm9182 Try adding the card using incognito/private browsing mode or try another browser. You can also purchase a voucher from retail store or online to pay for your plan.
