The rumour to not include a # of apartment or condo since the system does not accept them is confirmed. 
Maybe a special version of "bait and switch"? Unfortunately, encourages switching to another provider!

It follows that a little note is needed to instruct customers living apartments how to enter 'acceptable' address. It is not nice to bait customers with an entry for apartment number.
