Hello everyone, I'm trying to create an account for my wife who traveled to the US and her service is stopped for the duration of her stay from Telus. Public advised me I can create and subscribe a plan for her and send her sim card there to her so that she will be able to use the Canada-US service. I managed to create an account, subscribe a plan for her but when it's time for transfer number, I chose a new number because Public advise if I don't have an active phone number, it's better to create a new one and transfer to her numbner once created. So I did create new number and it was successful. Now Public says at the end you have an account already to verify its you we'll send a verification code. They sent a verification code on the new number I just created but I don't have access for the new number. I don't know what to do now

Did you use a separate email for each account? They need to be separate.

First confirm your new account works as expected: can you make/receive calls/sms using NEW assigned number?

you are porting into PM, right? the text for port authorization would be sending to the sim card of the old carrier.
what old carrier is that?
