Convert physical sim to esim

I purchased iPhone 17 Pro from USA. How do I switch my physical sim of my old phone to esim in new phone!? Thank you!

Can I set up this transfer in USA? I just bought the phone. I have Canada-US plan. Is there any reason I cannot set up physical to esim in US?

Yes the phone number will be transferred to the esim  as long as you buy the eSIM using the process I mentioned above

So the phone number will automatically be transferred after purchasing esim on new phone?

Of course. I just helped someone today move from a physical SIM card to an eSIM. It was super easy and only took a few moments.

Download PM app into the new phone.  Then login the app but eSIM from Account -> Purchase sim card -> ESIM
