if the person use chatbot to open ticket, a copy of the ticket will be in the Sent box, not Inbox. You will only see it in the inbox when an agent reply.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding @hTideGnow , but wouldn't the message with the ticket ID be in your inbox?

if you opened via Chatbot, you can get the number back from your sent box

it is basically like a Sent message
