Charged for 2 different plans upon reactivation

I used my Public Mobile SIM card in July, then let it lapse for August. I just reactivated it and changed my plan, but I seem to have been charged both for another month of the old plan ($30) and for a month of the new plan ($45). How can I get a refund for the old one ($30)?

The system worked as designed. Unfortunately, the design is ridiculously flawed.  I believe Alan noted they are working on this, but who knows if and when it will be ready.

@catherinemt, something to remember, the self serve does not allow customers to change plans when an account is in expired status.  Asking the moderators to do the change will avoid problems such as double payment.

Message the mods hopefully the purchases were close enough that they will provide you with a good will gesture of crediting your account the first purchase.

Expired accounts can only renew the existing plan.

Plan changes in less future dates take effect immediately and cause you to forego the anything remaining on the old plan.

How can you get help with your account, activation, or service?
