I am looking at joining Public but I would have a early buy out fee from my current provider SaskTel, wondering if this would be covered by Public or on my own dime.

Only postpaid plans are prorated but prepaid plans doesn’t offer any refunds for unused days. This is common for other carriers and PM for prepaid plans.

@EWeber20 please ensure you research as much information on Public Mobile first. There are no telephone support here, everything is all managed online by you. If you tend to need help and need someone to talk to, not a good place for you.
No refunds or credits are provided.
Yes they have a points program that could save you money off your bill eventually.

@EWeber20 Check whether your number can be moved to Public Mobile here (ignore that it says Koodo)
https://secure.koodomobile.com/checktransfereligibilityparrot/default.do
Since Public Mobile is prepaid and largely self serve there are not usually any negotiations on fees.
