Your tax rate is based on the area code of your phone number. To take advantage of the lack of provincial tax in Alberta buy pm payment vouchers to pay for your plan. The payment system always takes your plan amount from your available funds first before autopay kicks in.

The tax base is linked to the area code of your number.
To avoid paying for PST, you need to change your number to an Alberta area. Simply just choose a new number on your account.

@Alabsi Do you still have the Quebec phone number? You're being charged based on the location of the phone number. If you change your number to an AB number you should not be paying tax.
