Hello,

We are currently leaving Canada and moving to another country, but we would like to keep our Canadian SIM card/phone number mainly so we can continue receiving SMS messages.

Do you have a plan that would allow us to keep the number active at the lowest possible cost while we are abroad, including receiving SMS?

You can port your number to Fongo for a one time fee of $25 plus taxes. It can be used anywhere in the world when connected to wifi or on the data on the local SIM.

You CANNOT receive SMS unless you are in Can/Mex/US so there is NO point keeping PM account unless you are in one of these 3 countries.

almost impossible to downgrade your plan easily...and besides, you won't receive sms when you're outside Canada/US/Mexico (with the correct plan).
