Change number without informing

Hi everyone,

 

I wanted to share my experience and ask for guidance.

 

I recently ported my number to Public Mobile, completed the activation, and even started using the service. However, without any notification or explanation, my number was suddenly reverted back to my previous provider, and my Public Mobile number was changed.

 

If I had not checked myself, I would not have even known this had happened.

 

Because of this situation:

 

- I was charged by Public Mobile after activation

- I may also be billed by my previous provider

- I lost a lot of time trying to understand and fix the issue

- I experienced unnecessary stress and confusion

 

I was never informed about this change, which is very concerning.

 

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Why would a number be reverted after successful port and activation?

Who is responsible in such cases?

 

Any guidance would be appreciated.

It sounds like the porting wasn’t completed.
