Yes - go into your iPhone settings - under the phone app disable " Share name and photo" -- that works for me when I call someone they only see " Private caller" and no number.

As mentioned, Public mobile does not support name display. Your number will just show up on the receiving end. Other higher tier mobile companies (like Rogers, Telus) does offer this service.

Yes, but it depends on your carrier. With Public Mobile, you generally cannot change the name that appears when calling someone because Public Mobile usually only sends your phone number, not a custom caller name. If people see a name, its often from their saved contacts or third party caller ID databases like Truecaller.
