Hi,
I ported my number from Bell about 24 hours ago. I can make and receive calls, texts, and mms. However, I CANNOT receive sms validation codes, notifications, reminders or alerts from companies/businesses; for example, my requested banking validation code or online in store pick up notification. I had no problem receiving these on my old carrier. I haven't changed any of my phone settings. I don't have a spam filter or any blocked phrases/numbers set. I'm using my default phone messenger.

Yes, I saw that thread but it didn't offer a solution really... other than it magically started working 🙂

Also, I don't have any long distance or roaming add-ons.
I tried doing a community search, but couldn't really find an answer.
