Cannot receive phone calls

Newly actived phone.

I cannot receive calls: it goes directly to voice mail.

I can call and send/receive text only.

Any ideas ???

We don't know for sure that number porting is involved. This is just a guess by some of us based on the fact that calls are going to straight to voicemail.  An incomplete port would be the case if it's the customer's voicemail box at another carrier that is being reached.

@adara Sounds like your port has not completed. Just use you old sim until it stops working. When that happens the start using your PM card.
