Cannot activate SIM card

Hello,

I'm moving from Koodo to Public Mobile. 

I've got the 821 error code in the process of activating the SIM card.

I need a moderator help.

 @alexsupr : And don't forget to use a referral code for a $10 credit that should appear within 3 days. If you didn't ask here or in private messaging for one and you got deluged by them un-asked for then those people broke the rules.

Wait 50 min. to clear your session lock time out.  Then clear your browser. Reboot your device. Open one tab only in secret/incognito mode. Use firefox, chrome or safari as they work best.

 

Follow @dabr instructions if you are porting from koodo prepaid if its postpaid then include the following info:

 

  1. Full name on account.
  2. Koodo phone number.
  3. Koodo account number.
  4. Alternate phone number. (Optional but...landline, work #, family member's etc...)

Leave your koodo sim card in your phone and respond YES to the porting authorization text within 90 minutes of recieving it. Then place your pm sim card in your phone. Your port will complete within a few minutes to a maximum of two hours. Your koodo sim card will stop working and you will recieve incoming calling on you pm sim card. Welcome to public mobile!

@alexsupr    Is your Koodo prepaid or postpaid? 

 

Prepaid requires moderators assistance and a temporary number can be take at activation.  Koodo postpaid transfer can also be done at activation and if this is the case, then clear your cache/cookies and use a new browser with incognito/privacy mode enabled before retrying.  You may also be better of waiting another hour before retrying.
