How do I cancel voicemail, like just shut it off?

Use the extended absence greeting option which then lets you stop taking recordings. People will call in, you don't answer for some reason, it drops to voicemail, it plays your greeting - then it hangs up.

@jerry2020 no way to turn off

there used to be a workaround b8tne8th conditional forwarding not working now, that workaround is not working too

Please used extended absence instead

Follows this  to create extended absence greeting and don't let caller to leave message:

[3]Greetings --> [4]Extended Absence --> [2]Record  

[3]Greetings --> [4]Extended Absence --> [5]Message not allowed after greeting

[3]Greetings --> [4]Extended Absence --> [4]Turn On

You can't "cancel" voicemail.

You can ignore them, however.
