All of the above mentioned. But also be aware that Public Mobile is a prepaid carrier and you will not get any refund on unused service. It is recommendable to use it as long as it is valid.
Also note, if you want to keep your number and port it out to another carrier, your account still needs to be active.

Remove credit card and disable auto-pay if you have it setup and let your plan run out. (Number will be saved for 90 days then it will be lostl. Also to port out your number must be active) Or port your number out to a new provider that will also choose your account

Hi,
Go to self serve and disable autopay and remove CC if you have it entered.
Then just port your number out to what ever carrier you like. After you port your number your account will close.
