Canceling and getting a refund

I am trying to help my friend cancel her subscription... not mine. 

My friend came from the United States and we tried to set her up with public mobile and transfer her number but you can't use a US number.  We used my credit card to pay for it but then realized it won't work.  She doesn't want a Canadian number so we would like to cancel it and get a refund.

yes, you cannot port a US number here.  Would your friend want to have a new number instead?
