Hi,
I purchased a sim card last weekend, when there was a 1 day promo to get 5gb extra data. In order to recieve the bonus data, I have to register my new public mobile account using the same email that I entered during the promo. The problem is that I had already registered that email for my mom, who is already using public mobile. I can't register a new account using the same email. Is there anything that can be done? I have to register before June 15th in order to recieve the bonus data.

@GinYVR Not true. The bonus is tied to the SIM card number and email and the promo stipulates new account activations only so the mom will not get the 5G because she is an existing customer.
You're right. It just won't allow an activation using that e-mail address. In this case, no one will automatically get the bonus.
I'm not sure that the bonus is tied to the sim card number. I have my doubts to as if they record the sim card numbers upon shipment.
@computergeek541 I guess your right unless they were all part of the same batch within a specific range then it would not be very difficult to implement. One line of code to check the range they're checking for email anyway what's an extra check going to cost.
Yes, they could do that, but that would introduce a term/restriction that was never advertised, thus, unecessarily further complicating things.
If by some chance, I ordered a sim card during that one-day period, but then decided to go to a store to buy an additional sim card to keep as a spare, activating the "wrong" sim card should not disqualify me from the offer as all conditons would have still been met. Of course, this is all hypothetical.

All contact to Public Mobile is done on the private messaging system here. You can use this link to contact the moderators:

Depending on the volume of requests they currently have, you may need to wait a couple days before getting a reply.

I bought the card using the email because I forgot that I had registered my mom using it 😞

So why did you purchase the SIM using that email? The rules were pretty straight forward. No tricks or impenetrable legalese.
I would say not...but who knows...maybe they would cut you a break.
