Ok. Thanks to everyone for the help. I finally went to setting>reset and chose >delete all eSims. The phone is now acting like a normal phone with proper network icons and I can make calls. Thanks for taking the time. I listened to all your advice and tried each. Apologies if I seemed to blame PM. Was just frustrated…all the best.

hi @Jeff641

go to the Sim Manager screen or Settings-> Cellular and check how many sim showing up there.  Maybe post us the screenshot and we can better assist

pretty sure your esim still there.  delete the Public Mobile esim

what phone do you have?

I reset network settings.  No change

I have physical sim because my port of number failed. Took 6 days to get sorted and had to go purchase a physical sim. So I may have both?  eSIM  and actual sim.

My preferred phone   iPhone 12 won’t work. I have a physical SIM card.No dual port.  I am actually not sure if I have eSIM. Can I delete ESim?  Very confusing and frustrating.

so, it is not an area outage.

you have physical sim card , right?  Is that iPhone or Google Pixel? or other dual sim phones you have?  does the PM esim ever work on this phone you want?

Go to the settings and Reset network settings, this will usually clear up the problem quickly.

hi @Jeff641

if it works on the other phone, it is not a PM problem.

for the phone that it does not work, what brand is it?  Make sure that phone does not have another sim card there, remove it.  If it is esim, either disable it or delete it (but delete only if you are sure).  Your Public Mobile sim should be Primary (shouldn't be Travel or so)

Is working in my other phone. And network icon is normally. Other phone. In my preferred phone the network icon  is split and always shows Primary or Travel prefix in my preferred. Help please.

I rebooted twice removed sim. Phone tries to connect but just won’t connect. Will try these solutions. Last week was sos. Is this going to be a problem?

hi @Jeff641

is that a new activation or not?

data works?  or not at all?  you said phone won't connect, so, it is showing SOS on the status bar ?

what phone do you have? physical sim or esim?

Try reboot phone first, try Reset Network settings after.  You can also try your sim card on another phone
