Can't connect my phone

I have tried everything I have read to connect to the network with no success.  When I try to configure the apn and go to the cellular data page it says personal hotspot and there's nowhere to input the apn data.  I've tried resetting and I've also tried resetting my network data.  I'm out of ideas and getting ready to throw in the tower

What make / model is your cellphone ?

if you have a regular hard sim...try putting it in a different cell to see if that changes things. (ignore this suggestion if using esim)
