Can not create an account for self serve.

Question about creating an account.

When I enter my cell phone number, below messages shows.

"The phone number entered is invalid or you may have created your profile already. If you've forgotten your password, please click here."

Do you have to purchase a sim card first?

Please advice.

@robottv yes, you do need to activate a SIM first.  The self-serve account setup is part of the activation process that you can find here.
