Can I get my number back?

Hi I de-active my public phone number a few months ago by mistake.  How can I get the number back? Thanks for your help.

Was your account closed or suspended?

Call 1855-4PUBLIC and enter your phone number.  If it just tells you the account was suspended, then you will just need to make a payment to resume service

Once your account was closed for longer than 90 days due to nonpayment. Your number has been returned to the carrier you originally got the number from. It is gone. It will be put on hold for another 90 days before it is released to anyone who wants it. So you need to contact that carrier.

If the number was from Telus, Koodo or PM. There is a slim chance they might retrieve it for you. You can contact a CS_Agent to see if it is possible to retrieve. DM them.

My sister had to wait 180 days to get her son’s number back from the carrier he got the number from.
