Can I carry over the $10 beta discount if I switch plans?

I just signed up for public mobile, took the Canada wide text only package as its the cheapest and I wanted to qualify for the beta discount. I am willing to switch providers and use public mobile however I want to know if that beta discount will carry over if I upgrade my plan.
