I have recently topped up, now can not make or receive calls, also when making calls, get recording saying I am not signed up for long distance. Was working fine until minutes expired and topped up...angry!!!

Are you maybe on the $10 or $15 plans and have maybe run out of minutes? Just topping up doesn't do anything. Do you simply see the amount you paid in, in your Available Funds sitting there wondering what to do with itself?
You could use some of that amount to buy the 200 minute add-on and be able to call again.
But all this is speculating on you being on the $10 or $15 plans.

@HfurtadoTry powering down your phone, wait 1 minute power up your phone again. Does it work? If the answer is no, then you need to try @Lieux recommendation for the Lost/Stolen trick. It is almost acts as a soft reset for your account and in many cases fixes issues similar to the one you are experiencing.
Lost/Stolen Trick:
1. Login to your self-serve account.
2. Report your phone lost/stolen using the Plan and Add-Ons tab then select the Lost/Stolen Phone option
3. Wait 5 minutes
5. Report your phone Found.
6. Re-start you phone

You can try this..go in your self-serve account and tab PLAN/ADD_ONS and click on PHONE LOST/STOLEN close your phone few minutes and open it again and click on reactivate your service and see if something helped.

You can be angry....The best thing to do is asking help from the moderator as said above. Waiting time is few hours to 2 days. Be patient.
