We are all members like you helping each other with issues and are not PM staff on this public Community forum.

I am assuming you are in contact with a CS_Agent.

You phone is 7 years old and will not be VoLTE compatible so you may want to look for a new phone.

Assume your boss says the following: "This customer called. He paid our fee in full for immediate connection, but the system defaulted to June 15th. Please correct our error and connect him now. Thank you"

4G is just the speed of your data and not for calls.
You might want to check to see if your Samsung A30 is VoLTE compatible to make or receive calls with the 3G shutdown.

Here is more information on VoLTE:

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/get-help/articles/volte

Enter the IMEI of the A30 to see if it is compatible.

The A30 is too old so if it is not compatible then you need a new phone. Once you have the new phone. Pop the SIM out of the A30 and into the new phone then reboot the new phone.

Did you change plans immediately or at next renewal date?

If you changed immediately and you were charged, your new plan should be started immediately.

The website has caching issues and sometimes may show your old plan even though you have been switched.  You can logout of your account.  Clear cache, incognito mode or try a different web browser.  Log back in and hopefully, you should see new plan in your account.
