Hello,
is it possible to get a refund, as my subscription got automatically renewed even though I won’t be using it because I’m not in Canada!

Public Mobile's policy, and indeed that of all prepaid subscribers, is there are no refunds.
However, you could try your luck with the customer support staff.
If you're wanting to resume services when you return (if you are returning to Canada), you could also switch to the $15 plan to save money. Then let the service expire, set a reminder for 85 days from then, and resume again on the same $15 plan. Do this every 90 days as a way to 'park' your number.

PM is a prepaid service so unfortunately no refund will be given. Log in to your account and remove the credit card and subscription/auto pay if you will be out of the country for a long period of time. Please note that an account closes after 90 days of no payment.
