I was curious if I switch to public will I be able to have my Apple Watch connected as well? And share the data?

Public Mobile only services phone data, not watches. Therefore, if you have the GPS Apple Watch you can still get notifications if you piggyback off your phone’s data plan. Just make sure your phone is within 30-50 feet of your watch.
Any further then you’ll have to get the Cellular Apple Watch. You won’t be able to activate the eSim or get notifications on your phone without having your phone nearby.

@RaileyN hi you can tether off your phone but public doesn't offer esim that most of the new apple watches use😁

@RaileyN PM does not support Apple watch and does not offer data sharing plans so not a good fit for what you're looking for.

You could setup your phone as a mobile hotspot then connect your watch to it.

@RaileyN , sorry Public Mobile service only supports phones, no wearables. As a tier 3 brand, I don't see any expansion to include wearables any time soon.
