Adding Talk and Text To a Plan that is 60 days in

wowmobileregent

I have a customer that would like to add talk and text to her plan. The current renewel date is November 30, 2017 for her 3 + 3GB data plan. She would  like to add the talk and text as soon as possible. If we were to make a change and add the talk and text to the plan today, would she be able to start the calling and texting today? Also how would this effect her current renewel date? Would she have two separate renewal dates: one for the data and the other for the talk and text?

All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I took a friend to WOW to buy a SIM and the agent offerred to assist with activating.  We declined because getting a successful activation is so much fun.

Indeed.  If the activation snags, I'd much rather be contacting the moderators myself than waiting around for a WOW agent to troubleshoot and possibly play private message tag with PM.

Old plan will be forfeit as all plans are pre paid. you can sent up on new plan but no refund will be given. Hope that helps

PM does not allow two separate plans with two separate renewal dates to be on the same account. If you change the plan to include talk and text immediately, that would forfeit the remaining time on the data that is paid up to Nov. 30. If you don't want to forfeit that, then you'll have to simply future date a plan change to begin on Nov. 30.  Be aware though, that if the customer is on a promo plan, any changes to a promo plan will result in losing that promo plan forever if it is no longer a current offering on PM's plan selector.

When you change a plan, you need to pay the full amount for the new plan. This is because public mobile is a pre-paid service. There will also be no credit issued for any unused days.

When a plan change is made, it immediatley affects the re-newal date by the "x" amount of days in the plan (so if you change to a 90 day plan, the plan re-news in 90 days). Also by adding talk and text, it will become available once the new plan is available and in the self-serve account.

Edit: when going through the plan change, make sure to add everything you want in your plan. So if she needs talk & text, remember to include data, or she wont have data in her plan
