I purchased the 30 day US add on including 5g of data. I’ve only been here 5 days and it’s showing 3G used. I’m only using phone for about an hour each day, checking emails, texting, checking stores and restaurants etc, no streaming. Google says light use should last well beyond 30 days

I'm going to check with Public Mobile on this, as this would be something new as Public Mobile never previously had 30 day roaming add-on packages. Also, the infromation on the add-on page and purcahse receipt is contracdictory as this $40 roaming add-on is listed in a "15-Day Packages" category.

if you reset statistics on iPhone today, you can tell exactly which app used how much data from after you click Reset Statistics

but if you want PM to check the usage again, ask them 

 Simply open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA  code when login, use email to receive code instead of SMS if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)    When open Chatbot ticket, Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

I have an iPhone. I’ve been monitoring usage each day and it’s up to 3G after 5 days, averaging nearly 1 g each day.

Check the add ons. It was $49 for 30 day plan. I have a receipt!

There are no 30 day US data add-ons.  US roaming add-ons only work for 15 days, after which all of the data expires.  5GB isn't much data at all and it would very easy to use in 5 days, expecially if app or phone updates are performed.

you need to check your phone data usage log to confirm.  If you are using Android, you can easily change the current cycle date on Data usage to match your first day in US and you can see which app used the data.  if you are using iPhone, sorry, you cannot track backward.  All you can do is to reset data statistics today and start monitoring the data usage on the phone after you reset the data usage counter
