Add-on service not working UK Long Distance calling

Hi, my name is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and I just purchased add-on for UK calling 1000 minutes and when I tried calling someone in the UK, I was unable to do so. Could you please help? Thanks

Additionally don't forget:

Calls made to numbers starting with the following UK codes are not included in UK calling from Canada and will not be completed when dialed: 4470, 44870-44879, 44843-44845.

and how you make the call?

dial the Canadian international exit code 011, then the UK country code 44, followed by the UK area code (without the leading 0) and the local number. For a typical UK number, the format is 011 - 44 - Area Code - Local Number.
