Do I have to go to Facebook somebody just like totally ignored my message even though a ticket was opened and there was somebody on the other end responding... I can promise you sitting in a Walmart parking lot on the USA side 3 1/2 hours from my house in Canada without any add-on that I purchased won't make for a very nice comment

Making veiled comments such as those should be directed to Public Mobile staff.

@Sherrylb- Does the add-on appear in you self serve account? Did you try to manually set the carrier?

Do you see it in your list of add-ons? Do you see the payment in your balance? Are you connected to either T-Mobile or AT&T? Text and data should work fine. Talk is the tricky one that needs volte enabled for your device.
Adding - or able to switch to 2G GSM.

What have you tried? Are you connected to a US carrier? Is data roaming enabled?
Reboot your device.
