Add-on data not working 😡

I’ve used up my GB of data for this month but my acct says I still have 720MB of data which I bought as an add on.. but my phone isn’t accessing the add-on data and so internet access and texted no longer works when I leave wifi. So frustrating! 
Can anyone explain why? And suggest a quick fix.

That should have read "shouldn't  the Public Mobile service automatically switch to the add-on ...

Thx for the suggestions. Rebooting worked. Phew! Guess i should have thought of that LOL.

Should the pubic service  automatically switch to the add on data.  Doublechecked -  have 710 MB left on add-on. and phone doesn't have usage limits.

@mamu , please access your online account using incognito mode on the browser to ensure you are viewing up to date information.  Also check your phone settings to make sure that usage limits are not set and blocking mobile data.
