Trying to activate and it says invalid number but that's the number on the sim card

Who did you purchase the sim card from? It's possible that its been activated by mistake with a data entry error. Contact the moderators to check your sim card. If you bought it from pm go out and get one from a local retailer. Save the reciept and submit it to the moderators for a credit on your account.

That really isn't a factor as much any more since the fairly recent design change to the activateion website. New customers who are activating don't need to bother with those zeroes any longer and they are prefilled into the boxes.  For now, customers can start with those last nine digits that you've mentioned.

Go to the fridge and grab yourself a tasty beverage. Also pick up a pen and paper and the billing statement of your credit card. Make sure you also have your referral code ready and the promocode 2GBBONUS if you are going to activate a $35+ plan. Take a deep breath....ok you are ready. Do this first......

 

  1. Clear your browser.
  2. Reboot your device.
  3. Open one tab only.
  4. Use secret/incognito mode.
  5. Firefox, chrome or safari work best.

Now you can start your activation. Write down your email, password, acct. pin #, security question and answer. Put that somewhere for safekeeping when you are finished. If you are porting in a number use the following:

 

  1. Full name on account.
  2. Phone number.
  3. Account #.
  4. Alternate phone #. (Optional but put your work, wife, mom, dad, kid, or bff's phone # as its used to get in touch with you if your phone # isn't portable and as an additional verifier for your account....so write it down too!)

When you get to the payment page 4 enter your referral code and promocode in the boxes provided and......

 

  1. Copy your address from your billing statement.
  2. Add your apt/unit/suite # to the street address. ie. 101-123 1ST AVE W, CITY, PROV.
  3. Do not put a space in the postal code. X0X0X0 not X0X 0X0.
  4. USE ALL CAPS if necessary.
  5. Do not use autofill. Type everything manually.

Then submit your activation and cross your fingers....😎 Keep your old sim card in the phone if you are porting in to reply YES within 90 minutes of recieving the porting authorization text from your old provider. Once you have done that put the pm sim card in your phone and reboot. Your port will complete in a few minutes to max 2 hours. If you are not porting your services should all be up and  running.

@Jackboyd  is this a new SIM card that never been used?  Where did you get this SIM from?

 

Wait a bit and try again, and on a different browser. or different machine.

Was this a second or more attempt to activate this SIM card?

Quit the process, and try a different browser OR an a tab in incognito mode to try the activation process again.

i suggest you can try it for a different Browser
and do clear cache and cookies for any Browser,

and use a Browser from your computer,

use Browser microsoft edge or chrome latest version
and just make sure your Browser is up to date update
sometime is the Browser is not update is give a issue.

and Restart your computer, is will help.

 

and if you use a home internet please do one thing take your power internet off for about a 1 minute and put it back on,

 

and try agian
